Discovering your outlet for creative work

Creative businesses and people often have a hard time promoting themselves. Is this you? Do you struggle to put into words and pictures your talent? If so, I can help. After 25 years of working with promoting products, some as dry and boring as properties of hazardous chemicals, I have gained a knack for communicating what an individual, product, company, event or service has to offer.

It's a matter of asking the right questions, pulling the data that's available and creating a quilt of information that is clear, eye-catching and promotes curiosity. If any of you have watched the recent show, Pitch, you know what I mean. Creative professional look deep to find the essence of what the client is looking to communicate. Ideally, this is uncomplicated and can be read or seen in a matter of moments. That's visual communication.

Your creative outlet is getting in touch with how you can be creative and communicating that to the outside world. it's a double entendre: it's your chance to get creative and my chance to facilitate its outlet through me, my creative outlet.

The best communications are ones that incorporate the viewpoint of the client as well as the creative director. Otherwise, the client doesn't feel a sense of ownership or genuineness.
